Ever had one of those days where you couldn't stop laughing? Then you laughed so hard it turned into crying? And you were still laughing? That my friends is called a Craughing moment. Or perhaps you had an awful day? Cried most of the day and then found something that tickled that happy spot in your heart and you started laughing? And you were still crying? Yes, another Craughing moment! This blog is filled with my Craughing moments.

Faceless Friday 4/24/26

Hey, it’s Friday again! That means it’s time for Faceless Friday. Let’s talk about what rocked our faces off this week!  I must admit I have been (purposefully) out of the loop this week, so I am not current with the world on fire.  I needed a break from helping everyone and being needed.  Time to just focus on what I am working on and what I am dealing with sort of thing.  I think we all need that from time to time. So, taking a break from people without crashing out on them is number one on things that rocked my face off this week, let’s look at what else did:

Honestly, I don’t know if I have it in me this week to dig deep and expose what has been going on with my thought process.  It’s not like depression, but more of a removal of self for protection sort of feeling.  I’m exhausted from giving.  I don’t want to give anymore, not right now anyway.  I have been bleeding myself dry my entire life for people that never acknowledged my cuts, and I am just… done.

Not mad, not sad, not anything but done. I’m sure my empathy and all that will kick back in, but for now I am riding this wave and taking care of me and what needs done around my own home… and honestly, I’m good with it.

So, for this week I think we will just do a round up list of things that rocked my face off:

Coffee, creamer, music, my kiddo, my doggo, my cattos, sunrises earlier, warmer days, allergy meds (even if they barely work), lilacs blooming, magic, clean water, being caught up on my electric bill, chuck taylor shoes, neighbors pulling my lawn mower out of ditches, nerf gun battles, boundaries, pain meds, gummies, my brothers, self regulation, the way my kid and I can crack each other up, proof readers 😊, and YOU dear Craugher, thank you for joining again this week.  I promise I’ll be back next week with a better list of gratitude.
