Hello loves and welcome back to Faceless Friday! For you newbies joining us Faceless Friday is where I list out all of the highlights of things that rocked my face off this past week. Let’s go!
Women. If you think something is running smoothly and is organized I can 100% guarantee there are women behind the scenes keeping shit going. Unfortunately we still live in a society where men look to other men to lead, but real men know women are the leaders and get shit done. I am not trying to be sexist or mean, I am speaking science and facts. We were born for community and to make community thrive. Seeing women do what women do ROCKS my face off.
Watching history? Okay that’s mostly sarcasm cause what in the holy fuck!? But really… I for one plan on always being able to look at my kid and say I was on the right side of history. I want him to be able to tell his children about me. (I’m old I doubt I will get to tell them) I want to write down what I see, and the heroes I see everyday at my local gas station, driving down the road, on my news feed fighting for freedom. Fighting for what our grandfathers fought for in WW2.
Breathing. Really taking some moments in the madness and enjoying some moments. Listening to my child laugh. Brushing out my old ass dogs. Sitting and listening to an old song. Reminding myself that no matter what is to come, no one can take that spark of hope and joy from me, or you.
Okay Craughers! Lets do our round up list of things that rocked my face off this past week… and in no particular order (you know the drill, OtheR than coffee) here we go:
Coffee (you beautiful amazing friend), creamer, water, sunlight and beautiful sunrises, my neighbor for letting me borrow his truck because once again I cant afford my life so therefore can not afford to fix my car, not being the only one behind on electricity because I chose food for two months (I see you!), Shark vacuums, lavender, hot water, Vaseline coco lotion, clean hair!, finding community in random places, understanding, humor!!, EMDR therapy, having Nico man dog as long as I have- we are both fat and grey now but my God it has been one of the biggest privileges of my life to love him, having a place to live and being able to offer a safe haven to others if need be, MUSIC, books, AND YOU dear reader. I thank you for being here. For always finding your own gratitude and sharing that with me. I appreciate you more than I can say.
All love. All ways. Always.
