Faceless Friday Jan 9, 2026

How odd and almost disrespectful it feels to write a post about gratitude when our country is in shambles the way it is. When it is literally crumbling around us faster and faster each day and in more horrific and profound ways each time. What an absolute dumpster fire we are in. BUT one thing I have learned through the years is that when gratitude feels the hardest to find, it is the most important thing to reach for. So, let’s get to it. Welcome back to Faceless Friday, where I list out the things that have rocked my face off this past week.

Witnesses. Witnesses to the shit show of, well, everything. People that are courageous enough to get loud, video tape and make a record of what is happening in the United States. That takes guts and is fucking brave. Also witnesses for personal growth and how we navigate what we see in the world. I have been reacting with panic attacks and hives and I am lucky enough to have support that says “hey, stay off the internet for a bit, talk to me on this platform, just take care of you”. And honesty that is the kind of provider/protection mentality women are asking for. The world feels cold and cruel and we all need a soft place to land right now. It rocks my face off knowing that I can be heard and seen as a warrior, but also recognized as someone that has fought long and hard and needs a break now and again. Thank you comrades, you rock my face off and I am so grateful.

Connecting with my Roots. I was watching a documentary that led me to doing some more detailed research on my maternal family tree and I found SO much!! I specifically connected with a great, great, great grandmother. Physically reacted to her name in the most beautiful enthusiastic way. I am so excited to work with her in the astral and see what else we can heal in our family line! They say whatever you heal for yourself heals 7 back and 7 forward, and GOD knows I have healed a TON so the thought of doing even more is so exciting! Connecting with ghosts rocks my face off!

Okay my friends, I think this is all I can muster today. Let’s do the round up list and then do something nice for ourselves.

Coffee, my doggos, my kiddo, laughter, learning new things, music, mindless tv, good books, art, my moms birthday, seeing people for who they are and not who they so desperately pretend to be, watching straight men chase lesbians (hilarious), birds, cats, street races, good tacos, clean rooms, clean clothes, warm water, heated blankets, releasing fears and tears, the blessings that are on their way, and YOU my dear reader. YOU rock my face off, always. Thank you for being here yet again this week. I appreciate you so much!

All love. All ways. Always.
